About Me:

My name is Leslie Mathers. I am a second grade teacher at Thales Academy, and I am part of the 2019 NLGL Cohort at N.C. State. I am a native of North Carolina and currently live in Cary, NC. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking, attending concerts, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing my students gain confidence as we celebrate their achievements - both personally and academically!
